Set to open in March 2016, this five-story establishment will stretch across 870 square meters and focus on providing consumers with a full spectrum of DJI’s innovative consumer products.
The flagship store is designed to offer a hands-on experience, allowing visitors to explore and understand the latest in aerial technology. Custom-designed to resonate with both the essence of DJI and the cultural buzz of Hongdae, the store aims to create an inviting atmosphere for drone enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
Frank Wang, DJI’s Founder and CEO, emphasized the significance of design within the DJI brand, from their products to the overall retail environment. “We picked this unique location in Hongdae due to its vibrant cultural scene, which merges urban arts, indie music, and contemporary pop culture. DJI is also working to cultivate an engaging new culture for aerial enthusiasts, enabling individuals to experience and view the world from fresh perspectives,” he noted.
The Hongdae store marks DJI’s second retail outlet, following the successful launch of its shop at OCT Harbour in Shenzhen, China, back in December.

A dedicated team of customer-support staff will be available to offer technical assistance, facilitate firmware updates, and help with repair drop-off reservations.
