Highlights from the Previous Competition
The previous RoboMaster competition reached its pinnacle in July, with the South China University of Technology’s team claiming the gold trophy. The event saw participation from nearly 200 teams, comprising around 10,000 young engineers from across the globe. The final round took place at the Shenzhen Bay Stadium in Shenzhen, China, where a captivating 32 teams showcased their innovations. The exhilarating finale garnered significant attention, achieving over 990,000 views on Twitch across 30 countries. Teams interested in competing in RoboMaster may consist of full-time students, instructors, and external advisors. To officially enter the competition, teams must submit engineering proposals and meet specific technical benchmarks throughout the robot development phase. Each selected team will harness DJI’s advanced technology to craft terrestrial and aerial robots, which may include components such as motors, electronic speed controllers, industrial cameras, and microcontrollers. Teams must then strategize their approaches to outmaneuver competitors in the RoboMaster Arena.
